Family Fun Trip to Anna Maria & Bradenton- Beach & Nature, it's all right here!

Day 1: 🌴Arrive at Sunshine Getaway and get settled in! If there is time, take a car ride along Gulf Drive on the island for a driving tour of Anna Maria and its glorious beaches (From North to South): Bean Point, Holmes, Manatee Public, Bradenton, Cortez, Coquina, & Beer Can Island). Stop by Smogehouse for great BBQ or grab some hot donuts at Whitney's on Longboat Key.

Day 2: 🚲Rent a bike or a golf cart and explore Anna Maria Island. Visit the Anna Maria Historical Society Museum, stroll around the shops in the Historic Bridge Street district, and stop for lunch at one of the island's many restaurants. The Waterfront Restaurant is a great choice and has an excellent menu. The Sandbar has beachside dining, perfect for kids to run around and play in the sand, while you relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

Day 3: 🦈 Book a fishing charter and spend the day fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. You might just catch a shark! Call Moore Fishing or Captain Allan Engel to book a charter. They are highly rated! Stop by Starfish Company Market & Restaurant for the freshest catch. Have them cook for you while you enjoy right on the dock or take home to grill yourself for a gourmet dinner.

Day 4: 🛶 Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the nearby waterways, such as the mangrove tunnels of Robinson Preserve. Alternatively, there are multiple fantastic walking trails at Robinson Preserve or Desoto National Memorial for both adults and kids. There is an easy hike out to the observation tower for an awe-inspiring view at Robinson Preserve. Kids can enjoy a fun climbing structure at the Canopy Zone. Crawl, climb, and challenge yourself to new heights among the treetops of Robinson Preserve. The compact, two-story structure is filled with adventure park elements including a series of boardwalks, rope bridges, climbing nets, and slides.

Day 5: 🛍️Enjoy shopping and dining in nearby Sarasota. Visit the upscale St. Armands Circle, explore the boutiques in downtown Sarasota, and try out some of the city's renowned restaurants. Visit Mote Marine, the world-renowned marine research laboratory where you will see sharks, manatees, turtles, otters and all sorts of fish. They have a touch tank and stingray pettings. From there, head out to University Town Center for more shopping and stop by Popstroke, a Tiger Woods establishment. It is a fun place with 2 mini golf courses, a full service restaurant, and rooftop bar.

Day 6: 🌊Visit St. Pete/Clearwater beach or Tampa Bay for a fun daytrip. Stroll along the St. Pier to check out the shopping, splash pad, and museums the area offers. Depending on the season, catch a major league baseball, football, or hockey game.

Day 7: 👙🩳Spend your final day on Anna Maria Island relaxing on your beach of choice. Visit the Original Sand Dollar for beautiful and unique souvenirs to take home for family and friends. Take one last walk around the island to soak in the beautiful scenery.🏝️
